Dr. Tania Sethi, is the dedicated owner and dentist of La Porte Smiles Family Dentistry. With extensive qualifications including a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from UT Health Science Center, San Antonio, a Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) in Prosthodontics & Implantology from MUHS, Nashik, India, and an MSc. in Maxillofacial Prosthetic Rehabilitation from King’s College, London, Dr.Sethi has been shaping smiles since 2006.

What Dr.Sethi enjoys most about her role is the transformative power of dentistry – from relieving pain to restoring confidence through smiles. Clients appreciate her balanced approach, offering them options with clear pros and cons, along with her thoughtful recommendations.

Beyond the dental realm, Dr.Sethi treasures time with her husband and their two children. Their shared love for water activities and travel strengthens their bond. Tania’s creativity finds an outlet in various outlets.

I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of dentistry. Before Cedar lake dental, I was practicing in Woodbury, Minnesota. After four years in the north, I decided to move to Texas and enjoy the warm weather, culture, and delicious food. When I am not working, I enjoy fishing and having tea with friends.

Your dental health is important as it is linked to your overall heart and body health. My goal as your dentist, is to improve your dental health so you can live a healthier, happier life.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching soccer, playing tennis with friends, and cooking. My favorite soccer team is FC Bayern München, favorite TV show is The Office, and favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption. I also love Dolma and all Mediterranean cuisine.

Jennifer has been our hygienist at Cedar Lake Dental since 2022. She is a 2007 graduate of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. With seventeen years’ experience as a practicing hygienist, she enjoys being a part of a team that values top-level patient care and puts an emphasis on their comfort and ease in what can be a scary setting.   She enjoys educating patients in the best methods of oral home care and hygiene practices to ensure they maintain a healthy and beautiful smile.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading and some casino trips. 

Christiana is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in the dental field. With over a year of experience as a dental receptionist, she excels in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the dental office. She is skilled in handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organized patient records. In addition to her role as a receptionist, Christiana brings valuable expertise as a dental assistant, contributing to clinical efficiency and patient care. She is adept at assisting during procedures, sterilizing instruments, and comforting patients to ensure a positive dental experience. Outside of work, Christiana cherishes time spent with her daughter, finding joy in parenthood and balancing family life with professional responsibilities. With a passion for dental care and a commitment to patient satisfaction, Christiana continues to grow and contribute to the success of the dental practice.

Karla, a dedicated mother of two energetic boys and a charming little girl. With a nurturing spirit and a knack for organization, Karla effortlessly juggles her roles as a loving wife and a seasoned registered dental assistant. For the past three years, Karla has brought her expertise and warm demeanor to the dental office, where she assists patients with care and ensures smooth operations daily. Her passion for dental health extends beyond the clinic, as she educates her own children about the importance of oral hygiene with enthusiasm. Married to her high school sweetheart, Karla finds joy in family outings. Karla’s commitment to her family, career, and community exemplifies her vibrant and compassionate nature, making her a beloved figure in both her workplace and home.

Liliana graduated from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry Dental assistant program in 2019. As a Registered Dental Assistant, Liliana enjoys helping patients feel at ease when they come into our office. With her extensive knowledge and continuing education in the field of dentistry, she is able to apply these skills and help the patients make the right decision pertaining to the health of their teeth. Liliana has her certification in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, Basic Life Support, and Coronal Polishing. Liliana is from Romania and speaks 4 languages. In her free time, she enjoys riding her motorcycle, traveling, and outdoor activities.
