Dr. Tania Sethi, is the dedicated owner and dentist of La Porte Smiles Family Dentistry. With extensive qualifications including a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from UT Health Science Center, San Antonio, a Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) in Prosthodontics & Implantology from MUHS, Nashik, India, and an MSc. in Maxillofacial Prosthetic Rehabilitation from King’s College, London, Dr.Sethi has been shaping smiles since 2006.

What Dr.Sethi enjoys most about her role is the transformative power of dentistry – from relieving pain to restoring confidence through smiles. Clients appreciate her balanced approach, offering them options with clear pros and cons, along with her thoughtful recommendations.

Beyond the dental realm, Dr.Sethi treasures time with her husband and their two children. Their shared love for water activities and travel strengthens their bond. Tania’s creativity finds an outlet in various outlets.

I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of dentistry. Before Cedar lake dental, I was practicing in Woodbury, Minnesota. After four years in the north, I decided to move to Texas and enjoy the warm weather, culture, and delicious food. When I am not working, I enjoy fishing and having tea with friends.

Your dental health is important as it is linked to your overall heart and body health. My goal as your dentist, is to improve your dental health so you can live a healthier, happier life.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching soccer, playing tennis with friends, and cooking. My favorite soccer team is FC Bayern München, favorite TV show is The Office, and favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption. I also love Dolma and all Mediterranean cuisine.

Dentist with 20 Years of Experience

Dr. Brandy Burnett has dedicated the last 20 years to providing exceptional dental care, specializing in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. A proud graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Burnett is passionate about helping her patients regain their confidence with a bright and healthy smile.

She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Texas Ninth District Dental Society. These affiliations keep her at the forefront of the latest advancements in dental practices, ensuring her patients receive the best care possible.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Burnett cherishes spending time with her family and son. She also loves dogs and enjoys the company of her beloved dog, Blu. In her free time, she can often be found relaxing on the water or cheering on her favorite Texas sports teams.

Native of Caracas, Venezuela, Patricia Suarez came to United States to attend University of Texas School of Dentistry to pursue her Degree and Master Sciences in Oral Maxillofacial Pathology. Besides working for many years in her specialty in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology as an educator she become determined to open her own General dental practice with the vision of creating a multidisciplinary team of specialties to delivery excellency in dentistry. Cedar Lake Dental was founded in 2004 with a small group of dentists dedicated to providing all dental services to the La Marque and neighboring communities. She wishes to a part of a holistic dental practice with emphasis in prevention, treatment for the medically compromised population, dental oncology and multispecialty practice.

Jennifer has been our hygienist at Cedar Lake Dental since 2022. She is a 2007 graduate of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. With seventeen years’ experience as a practicing hygienist, she enjoys being a part of a team that values top-level patient care and puts an emphasis on their comfort and ease in what can be a scary setting.   She enjoys educating patients in the best methods of oral home care and hygiene practices to ensure they maintain a healthy and beautiful smile.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading and some casino trips. 

With over 4 years of dedicated service in dental administration, Maira combines professional expertise with a warm, welcoming demeanor to ensure every patient feels at ease from the moment they step through the door. As a mother of two beautiful children, Maira understands the importance of compassionate care and attention to detail, making her a trusted ally in managing appointments and patient inquiries. Maira prides herself on creating a positive experience for every patient, whether it’s scheduling appointments that fit seamlessly into busy family lives or explaining treatment options with clarity and patience. Christiana is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in the dental field. With over a year of experience as a dental receptionist, she excels in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the dental office. She is skilled in handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organized patient records. In addition to her role as a receptionist, Christiana brings valuable expertise as a dental assistant, contributing to clinical efficiency and patient care. She is adept at assisting during procedures, sterilizing instruments, and comforting patients to ensure a positive dental experience. Outside of work, Christiana cherishes time spent with her daughter, finding joy in parenthood and balancing family life with professional responsibilities. Nancy- With over 27 years of dedicated experience in financial administration and billing, I bring a wealth of expertise to every project I undertake. My career began with a passion for numbers and a commitment to accuracy, which has guided me through various roles and industries over the years. Currently serving as a meticulous Billing and Finance Coordinator, I have spent the past years ensuring the financial health and compliance of Cedar Lake Dental. My responsibilities include overseeing invoicing processes, reconciling accounts, and implementing efficient billing systems that optimize revenue streams. Outside of the office, I cherish my role as a loving spouse and proud parent to my daughter. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I prioritize creating meaningful memories with them. I am an avid traveler, always seeking new adventures and experiences that broaden my perspective. In my downtime, I am a passionate supporter of the Houston Astros and Texans football team. Cheering for them brings me joy and allows me to connect with my community and fellow sports enthusiasts. Karla, a dedicated mother of two energetic boys and a charming little girl. With a nurturing spirit and a knack for organization, Karla effortlessly juggles her roles as a loving wife and a seasoned registered dental assistant. For the past three years, Karla has brought her expertise and warm demeanor to the dental office, where she assists patients with care and ensures smooth operations daily. Her passion for dental health extends beyond the clinic, as she educates her own children about the importance of oral hygiene with enthusiasm. Married to her high school sweetheart, Karla finds joy in family outings. Liliana graduated from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry Dental assistant program in 2019. As a Registered Dental Assistant, Liliana enjoys helping patients feel at ease when they come into our office. With her extensive knowledge and continuing education in the field of dentistry, she is able to apply these skills and help the patients make the right decision pertaining to the health of their teeth. Liliana has her certification in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, Basic Life Support, and Coronal Polishing. Liliana is from Romania and speaks 4 languages. In her free time, she enjoys riding her motorcycle, traveling, and outdoor activities.

Noel is an experienced dental assistant with three years in the dental field, currently practicing in Both La Porte Smiles Family Dental Office and Cedar Lake Dental here in La Marque, Texas. He began his career after graduating from dental assistant school in San Antonio and has since developed a passion for patient care and dental health. Noel was born in Alpine, Texas, and raised in Midland, Texas, where he developed a strong work ethic and dedication to help those who want to better their oral health. He is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, aiming to further his understanding of dental health and contribute more deeply to patient care and education.
